Road rage is something that almost every driver will experience at least once in their life and usually these incidents finish with just a short argument, but sometimes violent and nervous drivers go much further and cause incidents that result with beating and even deaths. One such a violent driver is the 27-year-old J. Chatman who allegedly doesn’t know how to control her anger in such an intense situations.

According to police, the suspect was arrested earlier this month in a road rage incident in Ohio after she allegedly cut off a woman in traffic, pulled her out of her car, and beat her with a hammer.

The police said that at the time of the incident, victim’s 5-year-old twins were on the backseat of her car and the suspect beat the victim in front of her children’s eyes. Chatman even took suspect’s car keys before leaving the scene.

When authorities arrived at the scene, a woman who was helping the victim after the incident showed the deputies a Facebook live video of the incident that Chatman made and posted on Facebook herself. The video clearly shows the moment of the beating, taking victim’s car keys and further threatening she will kill her.According to police reports, the victim told investigators that a passenger who was at the suspect’s car got out and tried to open the door and take the children out of the car. When questioned by police, the passenger said she allegedly tried to take the children out of the car to safety. Luckily, she wasn’t able to take them out.The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries on her head and arms, but refused to be transferred to hospital for treatment. EMS personnel treated her on the scene.

Since the Facebook video was public, police easily identified the attacker and located her at her home shortly after. Deputies who responded at the scene said they found a hammer at suspect’s home, but the keys from the victim’s car were not found. Police didn’t reveal if the hammer was the one used in the attack.Although Chatman didn’t confirm when questioned, police believe the motive for the attack was the cut off which turned out to be more than a sufficient reason for the violent woman to attack someone, something that she apparently did.Chatman was jailed on charges of felonious assault and aggravated burglary, according to jail records. She’s was ordered held on a $19,000 bond during a hearing. This just another case showing how an “ordinary traffic issue” might result in a big incident.
