Wisconsin – On Monday, a hunter was setting up squirrel traps in the woods of Wisconsin when he came across a terrible thing. Travis Wilbert Lee, who is 28 years old, was looking for squirrels in the forest for his weekly hunt when he found a big block of ice with something strange inside it. Lee said that he couldn’t believe what it was as he got closer.
“At first, I thought it was a doll,” Lee said. “But as I got closer and looked at it more closely, I saw that it was a baby. I mean, how the hell did that thing get all the way out here by itself? The poor kid must have been dumped. That’s too bad, because Martha Lynn and I have been trying to have a baby for three years. We would have taken the child.
Police say that there were no other tracks that led to where the baby was found besides Lee’s. When they thawed the child, they saw that his umbilical cord was still attached. They have decided that the mother gave up the baby right after it was born. They will wait for the results of the autopsy to find out if the baby was stillborn or if it was left alive in the woods to freeze.
